- Pandas do not hibernate. When winter approaches, they head lower down their mountain homes.
- Pandas are bears. They are the least common type of bear.
- Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on the planet. It can grow up to 3 feet in height in 24 hours.
- A Panda’s paw has six digits…five fingers and a pseudo-thumb.
- Giant Pandas are shy animals and prefer to live alone.
